Hey Jacob, I recently began really trying to understand how to go about setting up adaptive bitrate streaming when I came accross your video "HLS Streaming Server with NGINX."

This seems like an area that you have some understanding in.

I feel like all the big tech companies are really destroying themselves with their policies. I feel like it is such a great time for new competition in the media realm, and video is an absolutely critical element.

So for the past few days I have been mostly looking into DASH and I have had zero luck getting anything to work on my local server.

Do you have any suggestions? I know there are all the big companies that offer a lot of services in this direction, but I really want to get the basics down of how to enable a visitor to my site to watch video that automaticaly adjusts the quality to their bandwidth ability.

Props to what you are doing btw! I will have to check out more of your content.
