Join a budding Linux enthusiast as he tries his hand with FreeBSD 10.
EDIT: I get it. I clearly didn't know a lot about BSD when I made this video. I've spent much more time with Linux, and I was obviously out of my element here. Still, telling the user that he's doing things wrong is becoming a less valid excuse every day. BSD distributions are notoriously difficult to install and configure, and as you saw in the video, I was excited that I was able to get a GUI working. Before you send me any more emails about how stupid I am, please note that the title of this video is "A FreeBSD Adventure," not "How To Install BSD Like a Professional." If I had wanted this to be a polished video, then you wouldn't have known how long it had taken me to figure out what I did here. I left in the fails and the rants to give people an idea of the preconceptions (and misconceptions) that might trouble a newcomer to FreeBSD. You're welcome.
