What is Rolling Release?

In Linux, a "rolling release" distribution is one that releases software updates as soon as they become available from developers, rather than waiting until a fixed release date. Rolling Release is our ongoing Linux news podcast, covering the latest developments in free, libre, & open-source software. Linux is always changing and improving, and this show focuses on stories that are relevant to desktop Linux users.
