Problem reaching server from within home network

Hello Jacob,   First off I want to say thank you for the videos they are by far the easiest to follow and understand that I was able to find on Youtube.   I was able to spin up a Jitsi server on a older machine that I have running at my house and it is working great.

My problem is that when I attempt to join a meeting by entering  https:// <Private Ip> of my server in my browser i keep getting disconnected about every 15-20 seconds and during that 15-20 seconds that i am in the meeting i have no audio or video, in fact I cant even start them (mic and camera are"allowed" in browser).

Anyone that joins the server from the outside world has a great experience. It just PC's/Phone's that are inside my LAN that don't work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sovled:  I ended up having to enable "Enable hairpin NAT (also known as "NAT loopback" or "NAT reflection") on my Ubiquiti EdgeRouter for my LAN interface.

I'm glad you were able to fix the issue by enabling NAT loopback on your router! I would have pointed you towards a DNS/hosts configuration for your network, but you landed on the more technically correct solution in my opinion.
