Extra Life is a charity benefiting Children's Miracle Network hospitals, which consist of children's hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. Extra Life's slogans include "For The Kids" and "Play games. Heal kids." Each year, many gamers participate in 24-hour marathonds of gaming, some of them streaming and others simply playing in private. Nerd on the Street has participated in Extra Life every year since 2015.

2015

On November 7th-8th, 2016, Nerd on the Street livestreamed for 24 hours (starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday and ending at 8:00 AM on Sunday.) Those present included Jacob, Adam, Brett, Drake, Stephanie, and Kirsten behind the camera. (add more info)

2016

On November 19th-20th, 2016, Nerd on the Street livestreamed for 25 hours (from 7:30 AM on Saturday to 8:30 AM on Sunday.) This stream was one hour longer than usual because the official Extra Life 2016 Game Day was November 5th-6th, which was the weekend that Daylight Saving Time ended. Members present at this stream included Jacob, Stephanie, Adam, Brett, Leo, Helen, as well as Kirsten and Michael behind the camera.
